Troy

When we fırst headed of to Troy I was really excited because I had seen the movie and knew a bit about the legends, but I didnt know the real history. Below ıs a model of the town of Troy that I saw before visiting it. I love how the houses back then were so flat they looked really cool.

 Thıis is a Trojan horse that they made for tourists to climb in and take photos with. As you can see the one we saw the other day was much more realistic This remınded me of some kind of playground which was fun.

This shows how thick the walls were back then. They were about 4 metres wıde and around 8 metres tall. Can see why ıt was so hard to get into there city.

This is pretty much whats left of the cıty of Troy. It was a lot of stones and small ruıns and then we got to hear what they used to be.

Troy was known as beıng the promised land because it was really beautiful and very fruitful. The view was really pretty and very green.

 This is a part of one of the roofs. You cant see it that clear, but there is a cool leaf imprınted into the centre.

This was probably one of the bıggest ruins we saw there so ıt deserved a hug :)
